Lloyd Road

This 370m² two storey, private house is located on a secluded site off Lloyd Road in Hove. To gain access to the site we first had to carry out an enabling works package to partially demolish the existing property and construct an access road and new boundary wall.

The striking contemporary linear house is flooded with as much natural light as possible. The design has numerous sustainable features and achieved a ‘Very Good’ EcoHomes rating. The external walls are constructed from an insulated concrete formwork system to improve thermal and air leakage performance. Inside, there is underfloor heating throughout, as well as Lutron lighting and an AV building control system. The garden features a swimming pool filled with harvested rain water and heated by solar thermal heating.
