Hunstanton Heritage Gardens

rhp provided Conservation Architect services for the Hunstanton Heritage Gardens in Norfolk. The scheme, to revitalise a key external public space on the town frontage, received Heritage Lottery funding under the Parks for People scheme.

In addition to the preparation of a Conservation Plan for the Heritage Gardens as a whole, we undertook Condition Surveys and detailed the repair of the existing structures, including covered seating bays, the Grade II listed Town Cross and ruins of St Edmund's Chapel.

We worked alongside the appointed landscape architects to prepare tender documents for the delivery stage and monitored the works through to completion.

The project won a BALI Landscape Award in 2018.
