The building, designed by rhp, provides an elegant modern solution to the College brief for new teaching and conference facilities to complement their existing accommodation.
The exterior of the building is made from traditional materials including red brick, lime mortar and oak on the ground floor with modern anthracite grey zinc cladding above.
The building has generously sized internal spaces including a double height plenary room, a large reception area and three linked teaching/syndicate rooms. The simplicity of layout belies the sophistication of the audio visual systems and other supporting services essential for college and conference use in the 21st Century.
