Patrick joined rhp in 2017, and is an architect and Certified Passivhaus Designer, having studied at Canterbury School of Architecture and the Graduate School of the Environment in Wales. He also has an MSc in Environmental Science, for which he researched the effects of retrofit on thermal comfort in schools.
At previous practices, Patrick has experience in low energy residential and education projects, as well as building performance evaluation studies and research in practice. He was the RIBA South and South East region sustainability expert for the 2016 and 2017 awards, and has presented at both the International and UK Passivhaus conferences.
He has a keen interest in sustainable and low energy architecture, and is part of rhp’s sustainability group, who research and share environmental design information, assisting the company in delivering environmentally conscious buildings.
