Designing for Higher and Further Education
rhp is able to design a wide selection of multi-purpose spaces, inspiring interiors and buildings that enrich the lives of staff and students alike. Our extensive experience of working with Higher and Further Education providers extends back many years and includes several building types and functions.
As student expectations have risen, greater importance is now being placed upon the facilities offered and their sustainability credentials and, as a result, clients are increasingly demanding of our designs, which have become more outward looking, transparent and technically demanding.
Our award winning sustainability team is thoroughly integrated within our design team to ensure we maximise environmental, economic and social opportunities on each project. We have considerable experience of working with Universities through framework agreements, and are currently in framework agreements with the Universities of Sussex and Warwick.
The long term relationships we have with our clients mean we are well versed in engaging with and managing complex stakeholder requirements. However, we believe a successful project is one which not only meets stakeholder targets and aspirations, but also provides students and staff with stimulating facilities which are efficient and practical to maintain.
