Sisters of Nazareth Generalate - The Nazareth Heritage and Archive Centre
The Nazareth Heritage and Archive Centre is the third phase of works rhp has completed for the Sisters of Nazareth Generalate.
This phase involved refurbishing an existing 1920s school house to provide space for archival storage and a Heritage Centre for visitors. The Centre exploits the large open space and has an enhanced visitor display area with new accessible ramped access. rhp worked with Design Map to co-ordinate the new internal display to tell the story of Mlle Victoire Larmenier, foundress of the Sisters of Nazareth. It opened to the public in September 2020.
rhp provided a professional service throughout, with design ideas, the planning process, co-ordinating the whole project, managing the design team and main contractor. [rhp’s] attention to detail and diligence throughout was particularly appreciated.
