A positive and collaborative process

“Working with [rhp] has has been a very positive and collaborative process” says Alan Gregory, Estates Project Manager at Chichester District Council.  rhp is currently working with the Council and Mildren Construction Limited on the regeneration of the town's St James Industrial Estate.

The development, which has recently started on site, will deliver 30 new units providing over 4400sqm of lettable space within five buildings. The new facilities will be sustainably built, energy-efficient employment space. This is the second site that rhp has designed for the Council following the success of The Enterprise Centre completed in 2018.  The way we work has changed hugely over the past two years and rhp has worked closely with the project team to support them through this changing landscape.

rhp were responsive and adapted easily to changing project requirements. They weren’t fazed by any challenges that came up while working on this project during the pandemic. They were proactive and rather than waiting for us to instruct them if an issue arose, they would initiate a dialogue,” added Alan.

The best project outcomes always come from working collaboratively in this way. We hope that this project, expected to be completed late summer 2022, will bring lasting economic benefit to the area.
