Phillip joined rhp in 2001, became an Associate in 2003 and a Director in 2005. He has strong expertise across a wide range of project sectors and variety of commissions from feasibility studies to completed buildings.

Phillip is jointly responsible for the management of the Brighton studio, including job procurement and extensive internal and external personnel liaison. He is the Practice Director for the University of Sussex consultants’ framework and past commissions for both East Sussex and West Sussex County Councils.

Recent projects include ESCC Warwick House Library at Seaford; St Barnabas Hospice, Worthing; St Wilfrid’s Hospice, Eastbourne; Kings Colleges International Student facility Brighton; Lakeside Water Centre, Eastleigh and the North Street Quarter in Lewes which received unanimous planning approval from South Downs National Park in December 2015.

Phillip is passionate about delivering high quality buildings that are focused on direct and end user needs, and enjoys reconciling complex issues to enhance the experience of those who use them.
