Following a competitive submission, North Norfolk District Council selected rhp to explore the feasibility and appraise options for the repair, refurbishment and extension of the Grade II listed Maltings in the heart of the coastal town of Wells.

After an extensive engagement with project stakeholders and the local community, our strategy  provided a community arts centre with a 150 seat theatre, local maritime museum and a series of flexible community rooms and halls. A roof-top viewing platform and interpretation centre celebrate the panoramic views across the marshes and Holkham beach.
