Spencer joined rhp in 1998, becoming an Associate in 2003 and a Director in 2005. During that time he has been responsible, as both Project Architect and Project Director, for the delivery of a variety of education, residential and mixed-use projects, both refurbishment and new build.

Spencer is jointly responsible for steering the direction of the Brighton studio. He is particularly experienced in guiding projects through all stages to time and budget and works closely with many clients to quickly establish the viability, costs, risks and opportunities of often complex sites and projects, particularly education, residential and masterplanning schemes.

He is particularly interested in developing robust and adaptable building solutions that can meet rapidly changing research needs and technologies.

Spencer is also the Framework Director for a number of Housing Association frameworks, leading teams and liaising with clients in the delivery of housing and mixed-use schemes throughout the UK.
