Helen Axworthy
Associate

Helen joined rhp in 1995 and became an associate in January 2002. Helen is our senior conservation architect and is responsible for projects involving historic buildings, their adaptation, alteration and repair.

Mid-way through her career, Helen gained a post-graduate diploma in building conservation with distinction, to further enhance her skills.

Helen has over 25years of conservation project experience in the investigation and survey of buildings of all periods. She places emphasis on research into the structure, fabric and repair history of the subject building as key to identifying possibilities for creative adaptation and intervention. She appreciates the importance of teamwork and enjoys working with the specialist conservators, craftsmen and contractors required to successfully deliver projects.

Within the studio, Helen’s role includes planning, programming and managing the conservation team and projects.
