David’s invaluable skills are born out of his considerable and varied project experience aligned with the awareness and techniques gained from his project management training. 

He enjoys applying a thorough, analytical approach in resolving challenging issues - from complex brief requirements, whether spatial or technical, to organisational and programming aspects of project and team management. He is particularly interested in developing robust and adaptable building solutions that can meet rapidly changing research needs and technologies.

David joined rhp in 1994, becoming an associate in 1997 and a director in 2000. He has built up a great deal of knowledge and experience in laboratory design and implementation. He has applied this to both new build and refurbishment schemes, many involving sensitive alteration to listed buildings in conservation areas.
