Ray Chudleigh and David Emond give CFCI talk

rhp directors Ray and David presented their technical expertise on recent Cambridge boathouses and riverside developments to the Cambridge Forum for the Construction Industry (CFCI) last week.

There was an impressive turnout for the talk – despite a serious wintery blast from the 'Beast from the East' – held at Clare College’s Gillespie Centre.

Attendees heard David's introduction on the history of the River Cam and its changing role in relation to the city, from commercial use to recreation and leisure activity. Ray presented the design and development of rhp's award-winning Combined Colleges Boathouse project, which provides high quality facilities for the rowers of King's, Selwyn and Churchill Colleges and the Leys school.

Contributions from a further two practices completed the evening's presentations.
